Poetry Society of Texas and National Federation of State Poetry Societies also sponsor annual contests for both members and non-members. NFSPS runs their contest from January 1st thru March 15th. PST opens their contest in May and entries are due by mid-August.
In addition to these sister societies there are many contest opportunities nationally. Poets and Writers has information that represents a good cross-section of the poetry scene. This website is massive so be patient about locating very specific info.
